Since the release on his 21st Birthday of his official debut with Hypomanic Productions, spoken word artist, poet and MC Just Muz has not looked back. Building on the support received from Radio One’s Rob Da Bank and MOBO winner Akala to name a few, this year has yielded sponsorship from the Jersey Arts Trust and an invitation to attend the BBC Introducing Masterclass 2013 at Maida Vale Studios in London. He also found time to complete a music video for the track “Distorted Truth” from the Mr Invisible EP. Many thanks to Creative Director Joan Flowers and Video Producer MDJaggar Media.
In the Mr Invisible EP (Bonus Edition), Just Muz crafts added songs overflowing with lyricism, wild imagination, characterisation and humour. A variety of topics are covered, from challenging mainstream rap trends in “Attack of the Clones”, an – erm – intellectual hiphop discussion in “Rumours”, to the soulful remix of title track “Mr Invisible” by Sakina Beats. Miss Tofelees covers most of the backdrop with her trademark funky, jazzy beats.
